It gives the possibility to take the longitudinal deformations of the specimen during the tensile test. 
A graph load/deformation is obtained and from this graph the coefficient of elasticity together with the loads RP0.1 - RP0.2 - Rt1 can be identified even on materials that are not presenting a yield point that can be clearly identified. 
The appliance is delivered complete with connection cables.
