Emergency eye wash is a protective safety guard used to clean the eyes from the eye contact with harmful chemicals such as acid, alkali, caustic, which harm eye health, or to clean the eye from foreign substances such as wood, metal burrs, dust, dirt, etc.
It is fully compliant with ANSI Z358.1 and EN 15154-1 standards to provide a safe working environment in terms of occupational health and safety.
According to the standards, it has to provide an uninterrupted water flow of 15.4 l / min for an eye / face wash fountain for 15 minutes and is connected to the water supply system.
The water temperature is kept constant between 16-38°C as per the requirements of the standard.
For this purpose, the Thermomixer, which provides the ideal temperature by mixing the water coming from the hot and cold water sources feeding the water network, can also be included in the system.
