The Vebé consistometer determines the consistency and workability of concrete, based on the same principle of slump test, but with the advantage of a mechanical action.
The concrete is subjected to vibration after the cone has been removed, until a transparent disk placed on the material makes completely contact with it.
The time required to perform the operation indicates the workability or VE-BE degree.
