Elcometer Covermeter (rebar detector) is a device that measures the thickness of the concrete coating on reinforcing steel and metal pipes.
The Covermeter determines the depth and location of the rebar and the direction of the rebar (rebar) and the diameter of the rebar.
A maintenance contractor can meet their daily requirements for pinpointing the exact position of rebar, masonry ties, studs and other metal fasteners with this low-cost, simple-to-use device.
The Elcometer 331 Covermeter is an all-in-one device that combines concrete cover metering and half-cell (for reinforcement corrosion detection) measurement, making site visits faster and easier.
In Cover Mode, it quickly, easily and accurately locates and determines the direction of the rebar.
Quickly measures the condition and potential corrosion of rebar and steel structures in concrete in Half-Cell Mode (for reinforcement corrosion detection).
Up to 240,000 readings can be stored for detailed reporting.
One-handed operation: All functions can be easily accessed and controlled with 4 keys/buttons.
Memory and data recording can be done with data output to PC or directly to the printer.
